A tour of cities north of New York was underway by the summer of 1851. In August The Greek Slave appeared at the Wadsworth Athenaeum in Hartford, Connecticut. Hours were from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; admission was 25 cents, season tickets 50 cents, and pamphlets 6 ½ cents.
