Advertisements indicate The Greek Slave was shown from June 20, 1851, “for a short time” in the Chinese building at 541 Broadway, a venue associated with P. T. Barnum’s American Museum. Hours were from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; admission was 25 cents, season tickets 50 cents, and pamphlets 6 ½ cents.
